Effective stabilization of the Aloe Vera Gel is the only way to insure that product potency will be maintained beyond a short period of time after processing. We say "effective", because although there are a number of other stabilization methods in use today, only one, the Patented Coat's Stabilizing Formula, has been shown through laboratory testing, to be "effective" in maintaining product potency for long periods of time after processing.
As the Coat's stabilizing process is proprietary, AloeNexus is not able to devulge the stabilizing formula. We do know that some of what it involves is the following:

To best of our knowledge, the Coat's patented stabilizing process is the only one that works as well as, or better than, the fresh gel from the plant. Not only has this been borne out by Coat's in-house research and the research of independent laboratories, it has also been more than confirmed in thousands of applied cases. Many of these were cases in which patients and doctors who had met with failure using other Aloe products, turned to Coat's Stabilized* products with positive results.
